Restaurant Accountant for Calendar Conversion

We are an independent, high-volume restaurant in Houston, Texas seeking an experienced restaurant accountant or controller to assist in converting our financial reporting from a traditional calendar month to a 4-4-5 accounting calendar. Our Current Systems QuickBooks Online Toast POS xtraCHEF Restaurant with weekly Flash P&L reporting Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who has: Extensive experience with restaurant accounting. Experience implementing or maintaining 4-4-5 accounting calendars. Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online. Experience with Toast POS and/or xtraCHEF is a significant advantage. Experience working with multi-unit restaurants is a plus. Potential Ongoing Work If we're a good fit, we'd like to continue working together on an ongoing basis to: Produce monthly management accounts. Review labor and food costs. Prepare management reports and KPIs. Assist with budgeting and forecasting. Support the financial reporting needs of a growing restaurant business.
