Restore the Time Code Metadata of Numerous Clips Within My Davinci Resolve Project.

I need an expert in navigating Davinci Resolve 20's frontend and backends. In terms of what needs doing, I would like to have the metadata of several hundred of short video cuts from (mostly) one single source video clip to have their time codes restored if possible. On the front end, Davinci Resolve is not acknowledging the time codes, starting each cut clip from 00:00:00. The original time codes were overwritten. I will have to explain how I approached troubleshooting the issue in order for a complete understanding to be achieved, so that is where we will start. Once there is comprehension, you will have to draft a plan for the restoration of metadata for the affected clips.
