Revenue Operations Manager (Sales & Marketing Operations)

Summary

About the Role We are a masonry company with strong demand, skilled crews, and real growth ahead of us. What we do not have yet is the operational backbone behind our sales and marketing: a clean CRM, a defined lead pipeline, documented processes, and reporting the owners can actually trust. Right now, too much of how we sell lives in people's heads. We are hiring a Revenue Operations Manager to build that backbone from the ground up. You will design and implement our CRM, map out the full customer journey from first call to signed contract to completed project, document our sales and estimating processes into SOPs and playbooks, automate the busywork, and give leadership clear visibility into pipeline and performance. Your mission is to turn informal owner knowledge into a repeatable operating system, so the business can grow without everything depending on the founders. This is a senior, builder role. You will not inherit polished systems. You will create them. You will report to and work directly with the COO, and collaborate closely with the rest of the executive leadership team on strategy, technology decisions, and growth planning. We are looking for deep expertise across both marketing and sales, someone who understands the full revenue picture, not just 1 side of it. What You Will Do Systems & CRM Architecture Design, implement, and administer our CRM (HubSpot or similar), including pipelines, deal stages, lifecycle logic, lead ownership rules, and data architecture built around a contracting business (residential and commercial jobs, estimates, repeat clients, referral partners such as GCs, builders, and architects). Build lead intake and routing so every inquiry (phone, web form, referral, ads) lands in 1 system, gets assigned, and gets followed up on, with 0 leads falling through the cracks. Integrate the tools around the CRM: quoting and proposal software, scheduling, phone tracking, email, and job management tools, using automation platforms where needed. Process, SOPs & Enablement Map the entire sales process, from lead to estimate to follow up to close to handoff to production, and document it into clear SOPs and playbooks anyone can follow. Build follow up sequences, email templates, and cadences for estimates, past clients, and referral partners. Train and enable the owners, estimators, and office staff on the systems you build, and drive adoption so the processes actually stick. Marketing Operations Own the operational side of marketing: lead tracking and attribution, campaign reporting, email marketing and automation, and coordination of channels such as Google Ads, Local Services Ads, SEO, and our Google Business Profile. Make sure marketing spend is measurable, so we know cost per lead and cost per booked job by channel. Reporting & Analytics Build dashboards leadership can trust: pipeline value, close rates, estimate turnaround time, lead sources, revenue by service line, and rep or crew level performance. Turn overwhelming or scattered data into simple, actionable reporting that drives weekly decisions. Executive Collaboration Work directly with the COO as your primary partner, and advise ownership and the executive team on revenue strategy, growth priorities, and where to invest in marketing and sales. Guide major sales and marketing technology decisions (CRM selection, quoting tools, ad platforms, automation stack) and own the evaluation, rollout, and adoption. Bring an executive level point of view: connect what is happening in the pipeline and in campaigns to revenue outcomes leadership cares about. What We Are Looking For 5+ years across sales and marketing, with deep, demonstrated expertise in both: you have carried or supported a sales pipeline and you have run or operationalized marketing programs, not just administered software. Experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Marketing Operations, ideally building systems from scratch for founder led or small growing businesses. A track record of working directly with executive leadership (COO, CEO, CRO, CMO), advising on strategy and technology decisions, and reporting at the leadership level. Deep, hands on expertise with HubSpot or Salesforce administration: workflows, automation, reporting, data hygiene, and lifecycle design. HubSpot certifications are a plus. Proven track record of documenting processes: SOPs, sales playbooks, onboarding and enablement materials. Experience with workflow automation and system integration (for example Zapier, n8n, native integrations). Strong reporting and dashboard skills; ability to translate messy data into clarity for nontechnical owners. Comfortable working directly with founders and translating how they sell into structured, teachable process. Enough sales DNA to understand pipeline, follow up, and closing, not just administration. Direct sales or business development experience is a strong plus. To apply, send your resume along with 1 or 2 examples of systems, SOPs, or CRM builds you have created (screenshots, docs, or a short Loom walkthrough are all welcome).
