Revit BIM Content Creator Needed – Office Pods & Modular Rooms (DWG to RVT/RFA)

Project Overview We have an existing AutoCAD DWG of one of our products and need it converted into a professional, native Revit model. This is not simply a DWG conversion. We require a manufacturer-quality BIM asset that architects and designers can confidently use in their own projects. The finished files should follow Autodesk Revit best practices, be lightweight, organized, and suitable for distribution to architects, designers, and commercial furniture dealers. Scope of Work Using the supplied AutoCAD DWG, create: 1. Native Revit Project (.RVT) Develop a clean, organized Revit model including all visible architectural components. The model should accurately represent the product, including: Walls Floor Ceiling Roof (if applicable) Doors Glass panels Windows Interior panels Structural members (if shown) Built-in furniture/components shown on the drawing The model should be created using native Revit geometry and organized using proper Revit categories and families. 2. Parametric Revit Family (.RFA) Create a reusable Revit Family that architects can easily place into their own building models. The family should: Be lightweight and optimized for performance Insert correctly into any Revit project Include proper reference planes Include a clean insertion point/origin Have appropriate materials assigned Display correctly in: Plan Elevation Section 3D Views Scale properly Where practical, include parameters such as: Overall Width Overall Depth Overall Height Finish/Material Glass visibility Door swing/open direction We understand that not every dimension needs to be parametric depending on the product. BIM Standards The final files should: Be built using native Revit geometry Contain no imported CAD geometry in the final family Be clean and purge-ready Be optimized for file size and performance Follow Autodesk/Revit best practices Be suitable for distribution as manufacturer BIM content Deliverables Please provide: Native Revit Project (.RVT) Parametric Revit Family (.RFA) IFC Export (.IFC) PDF drawings generated from Revit PDF 3D views All custom families used Material and texture files (if applicable) Requirements We're looking for someone with: Strong Autodesk Revit experience Experience converting AutoCAD DWG drawings into BIM models Experience creating professional Revit Families Architectural or BIM background Excellent attention to detail Strong communication skills Experience creating BIM content for manufacturers is a plus.
