3D Robotic Arm Prototype Model — Blender
Worldwide
3D Robotic Arm Prototype Model — Blender Overview I’m looking for a 3D artist to create a clean, modular robotic arm prototype in Blender. This is an early-stage digital/visual prototype intended to help us visualize the robotic arm's structure, proportions, appearance, and movement. The model will potentially be used later as a visual reference for engineering and mechanical development. This project is focused on the digital model only. Physical prototyping, electronics, engineering CAD, and robotics simulation are outside the current scope. Key Requirements Create a robotic arm consisting of: * Base * Shoulder * Upper arm * Elbow * Forearm * Wrist * End-effector/tool mount The model should: * Have major components as separate objects * Have a clean object hierarchy * Have correct pivot/origin placement at each joint * Allow realistic rotation of each joint * Be suitable for basic animation * Be organized so individual components can be easily modified later Design Style We are looking for a: * Industrial / semi-realistic robotic arm * Clean and professional appearance * Prototype-oriented design * Realistic mechanical proportions * Minimal, modern aesthetic * Neutral materials such as white, grey and black The design should feel like a serious robotics prototype, not a toy or overly futuristic sci-fi robot. References may include the general design language of industrial and collaborative robotic arms, but the final design should be an original concept rather than a direct copy of an existing product. Deliverables * Complete `.blend` file * Fully organized scene * Separate components/objects * Clearly named parts * Correct joint pivots/origins * Basic hierarchy/parenting * Simple animation demonstrating: * Base rotation * Shoulder movement * Elbow movement * Wrist movement * End-effector movement Important The priority is structure, proportions, clean modeling, and believable movement, rather than extremely high-detail textures or photorealistic rendering. The model should be created in a way that allows us to continue developing the concept later. To Apply Please provide examples of previous work involving: * Robotic/mechanical 3D models * Industrial design * Blender animation * Mechanical assemblies or articulated objects Please also briefly describe how you would structure the robotic arm so that each joint can move independently. Timeline First version: approximately **3–5 days** Final version after feedback: approximately **5–7 days** Budget Open — please provide a fixed-price quote based on the requirements above.
