SDR — Full Outbound Ownership: Cold Calling, Email & LinkedIn (UK hours)

Posted 4 days ago

Worldwide

Summary

We are a B2B data intelligence platform. We sell signals — which companies are hiring, spending, moving people, warming up as buyers — to commercial teams tired of reacting to what is already public. Customers include large media and agency groups. We are building outbound in-house rather than paying an agency. You are the first SDR and you own the entire motion: the sequences, the sending, the calls, the LinkedIn, the triage, the scoreboard. This is repeatable lead generation. Not campaigns. A machine that runs every week and produces a number. What you own Sequence construction. You build the cadences per segment, not just execute someone else's. Roughly: day 1 email, day 3 social touch, day 5 proof point, day 8 call and voicemail, day 12 asset, day 18 breakup. Adapt per segment and defend your changes with data. Cold calling. 50–70 dials a day into our volume segment: media and publishing, staffing and recruitment, mid-market SaaS. Buyers are CROs, VPs of Sales, Heads of Commercial, RevOps Directors. Permission-based openers, 20 seconds to earn the next 30. Email at volume. Multi-mailbox, multi-domain sending in Instantly or Smartlead. 1,000+ sends a day at steady state. Every address verified immediately before send. Bounce under 2%; over 3% and we halt. Infrastructure. 35–45 mailboxes across 12–15 secondary domains. SPF, DKIM, DMARC. Warmup schedules, ramp plans, spam monitoring. You keep it healthy without being asked. LinkedIn. The warm-up triple on every target — comment on their latest post, profile view, connection request. Blank connects by default. DMs after accept: 2–3 sentences, their pain first, never our features. Personalisation. One real, verifiable detail from the last 90 days on every first touch. You do the research. Suppression hygiene, weekly. Customers, live pipeline, do-not-contact, unsubscribes, 90-day recycle rule. The hot lane. Anyone who requests one of our data assets gets called inside 15 minutes in business hours. Non-negotiable and measured. Speed is most of the edge here. Booking and handoff. Positives go into two closers' calendars, tagged by source and variant. Booked means calendar-accepted, right title, target account. The scoreboard. Weekly: dials, connects, sends, delivered, positive reply rate, meetings booked, meetings held, bounce rate. Cut by sequence and segment. You produce it, we read it every Monday. QA gate. Four buyer segments. Three are small, tight-knit industries where a sloppy touch is visible at CEO level — sendables and call lists for those go past our commercial lead before they ship. The fourth is high-volume and you run it independently once up to speed. What good looks like 8–12 held qualified meetings a month by month three. Positive reply rate above 1.5%. Bounce under 2%. 90%+ of asset requests contacted inside 15 minutes. Compensation Full time, 40 hours a week. No commission structure. What we supply Target lists and platform-sourced data, approved messaging framework, proof points, the closers, all tooling, and everything after "yes." Requirements You have cold called at volume into UK, EU or US B2B and can tell me your connect-to-meeting rate without checking. Neutral, phone-clear English. Buyers hang up on friction. You have personally run multi-domain cold email at 1,000+ sends a day and kept deliverability healthy. You know what a DMARC record does and can fix one without asking. You have built sequences from scratch, not just clicked send on someone else's. Native-level written British English. Our copy has banned phrases and a strict tone. GDPR-aware. UK and EU prospects, so opt-out handling and data provenance matter. Comfortable with a scoreboard you cannot hide from. Nice to have Sports, sponsorship or media exposure. Clay. HubSpot. Tooling Instantly or Smartlead, Apollo, a dialler, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Slack, HubSpot. First 30 days Domains bought, mailboxes provisioned and warming, lists verified and loaded, sequences built, calling live, first meetings booked. We are hiring for shipped over planned.
