We need a specialist to build SEO from the ground up: technical foundation, structured data, content strategy, and GEO (generative engine optimization: getting cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and other AI answers) as one complete package. Deliverables: - Technical SEO foundation: sitemap.xml, owned robots.txt, per-page metadata strategy, canonical tags, Open Graph wiring - Structured data: JSON-LD VideoObject, Organization/Person, FAQPage, and ItemList/Course schema where it fits - Indexing strategy for gated content: what public pages should exist (landing, pricing, about, video teaser pages, show notes/transcripts) and how to make the library discoverable without leaking paid content - Content SEO: keyword strategy for the platform's content themes, brand and name searches, title/H1/copy guidance, public content plan that earns rankings and backlinks - GEO (generative engine optimization): AI crawler policy, llms.txt if recommended, content structure that makes the site quotable by AI assistants, monitoring visibility in AI answers - Google Search Console: setup, sitemap submission, index coverage monitoring, ongoing rank tracking and reporting What we're looking for: - Proven track record with content/subscription SEO (video or course platforms a plus), with case studies showing real ranking or signup improvements - Hands-on technical SEO: schema markup, robots/sitemap handling, canonical strategy, Core Web Vitals awareness - Working knowledge of GEO/AI search: how AI assistants source and cite content, llms.txt, AI crawler management.
