SEO & Growth Marketer – Rank a New Site, Drive Traffic, Convert Visitors

I have a fully built legal tech website launching with 51 state-specific landing pages. I need someone who can get it to rank, pull traffic, and convert visitors into paying customers. That's the job. I don't care if you've never worked in legal or estate planning. I care that you know how to rank a new domain, build backlinks that move the needle, and optimize a conversion funnel until it prints money. What You'll Be Measured On: - Organic traffic growth (target: 2,000+ visitors/month - Keyword rankings for high-intent state terms - Backlinks acquired from real, authoritative domains - Conversion rate optimization (visitor → questionnaire → payment) - Revenue per 1,000 visitors What You'll Do: - Execute a 90-day growth plan built around SEO, link building, and conversion optimization - Perform keyword research and map target keywords to the 51 state pages - Build 30–50 quality backlinks in the first 60 days through outreach, guest posts, and resource page placements - Optimize meta titles, descriptions, and on-page content for CTR and rankings - Use Search Console and GA4 to identify ranking opportunities and fix under performers - Run and optimize a small Google Ads budget targeting exact-match buyer keywords - Build and manage a referral partner program with funeral homes, estate attorneys, and financial advisors - Set up and monitor conversion tracking, then improve the funnel based on data - Pitch the story to journalists and newsletters that can deliver traffic spikes You Must Have: - Proven ability to rank new websites for competitive local/state keywords - Demonstrated success building backlinks through cold outreach - Strong command of technical SEO (sitemaps, schema, site speed, internal linking) - Experience optimizing landing pages for conversion - Working knowledge of Google Ads, Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs or SEMrush - A bias for action and zero tolerance for vanity metrics You Do Not Need: - Legal or estate planning experience - A fancy degree - To understand the product's history Project Details: - Duration: 90-day contract with potential for long-term fractional role - Commitment: 10–15 hours per week to start To Apply: 1.
