Summary

I am looking for an SPSS/statistical analysis specialist to conduct a pilot analysis of a survey dataset containing approximately 80 responses. The questionnaire uses Likert-scale items and measures multiple psychological/workplace constructs. The purpose of the analysis is to assess data quality, reliability, construct validity, and relationships between the measured constructs before proceeding with the main sample. Required analyses 1. Data Quality Checks * Check for missing responses / missing values * Identify unusual or inconsistent response patterns * Check descriptive statistics for the questionnaire items and constructs * Identify any potential data-quality issues that should be addressed before further analysis 2. Reverse Coding Some questionnaire items are reverse-coded and must be recoded before conducting reliability and other scale-level analyses. Please identify the relevant reverse-coded items, recode them correctly in SPSS, and ensure the recoded variables are used in subsequent analyses. 3. Reliability Analysis Conduct reliability checks for each construct, including: * Cronbach’s Alpha * Item-level reliability statistics * Corrected Item-Total Correlation * Cronbach’s Alpha if Item Deleted * Overall/scale-level reliability Please identify items that may negatively affect the reliability of their respective constructs and explain why. 4. Construct Validity – Exploratory Factor Analysis Since this is a pilot sample of approximately 80 respondents, the factor analysis should be treated as exploratory. Please conduct: * KMO measure * Bartlett’s Test of Sphericity * Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) * Factor loadings * Communalities * Appropriate factor extraction method * Appropriate rotation method * Identification of problematic/cross-loading items The purpose is to explore whether the observed items appear to group according to the intended constructs. The EFA will be used as an exploratory assessment at this stage; confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) will be conducted later using the main sample. 5. Pearson Correlation Analysis Conduct Pearson correlation analyses between the main constructs to examine the direction and strength of their relationships. Please report: * Pearson correlation coefficient (r) * Statistical significance (p-value) * Appropriate correlation matrix/table Deliverables I would like to receive: 1. The cleaned SPSS dataset 2. The SPSS syntax used for the analyses 3. Complete SPSS output 4. Tables summarizing the results 5. A concise interpretation of the findings 6. Clear identification of any problematic items 7. Recommendations regarding items that may require revision, removal, or further investigation The questionnaire, variable coding information, and dataset will be provided to the selected freelancer. Please apply appropriate statistical procedures rather than simply generating SPSS output. I would also like the analysis to be reproducible through SPSS syntax. Experience with survey/questionnaire validation, Likert-scale data, Cronbach’s Alpha, EFA, Pearson correlations, and SPSS is strongly preferred.
