Sales Closer for Marketing Agency

Prosper Media Services is looking for an experienced sales closer with a proven background selling marketing and agency services to help us bring on new clients. We are a growing marketing and media agency specializing in social media management, content creation, short-form video, digital advertising, brand strategy, SEO/GEO visibility, and helping businesses build stronger brands. Prosper was founded by an Emmy Award-winning former television producer with more than 20 years of experience in television production, corporate marketing, communications, nonprofit marketing, and brand storytelling. We have the portfolio, client results, case studies, service offerings, and sales materials. We're looking for someone who knows how to take that value and close business. NON-NEGOTIABLE EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT You must have previous experience selling one or more of the following services: Social media management Digital marketing SEO and/or GEO services Video production or content creation Marketing agency retainers This requirement is non-negotiable. We are specifically looking for someone who understands how to sell marketing services and recurring agency relationships. If your sales experience is primarily in unrelated industries, this opportunity is not the right fit. What You'll Do * Identify and prospect qualified small and midsize businesses * Conduct strategic outreach to potential clients * Follow up with interested and qualified prospects * Understand the prospect's business and marketing challenges * Present Prosper Media Services and the appropriate service package * Conduct or participate in sales calls * Handle objections and communicate the value of professional marketing * Consistently follow up with prospects * Move qualified opportunities from initial conversation to signed agreement You'll have access to Prosper's portfolio, client results, case studies, service information, and other sales materials to support the sales process. Compensation This is a commission-based freelance sales opportunity with no cap on commissions. Social Media Pilot Program For clients you close into Prosper's Social Media Pilot Program, you'll receive: 10% of collected monthly revenue for the client's first 3 months. Example: A $1,500/month Pilot Program client = $450 total commission Standard, Growth & Premium Packages For clients you close into one of Prosper's Standard, Growth or Premium packages, you'll receive: 10% of collected monthly revenue for the client's first 6 months. Examples: A $3,500/month client = $2,100 total commission A $5,500/month client = $3,300 total commission A $7,500/month client = $4,500 total commission The more business you close, the more you earn. There is no commission cap. We are initially looking at this as a trial relationship. Someone who demonstrates the ability to consistently generate and close qualified opportunities could develop into a long-term sales partner for Prosper Media Services. Who We're Looking For We're looking for a closer, not simply a lead generator. The ideal person: * Has successfully sold social media management, digital marketing, SEO/GEO, video production, or agency retainers * Understands how to sell monthly recurring marketing services * Has a proven B2B sales and closing track record * Can confidently lead a discovery or sales conversation * Knows how to uncover a business owner's actual marketing challenges * Can handle pricing objections without immediately discounting * Understands how to sell value and business outcomes instead of deliverables alone * Is comfortable following up consistently with prospects * Can work independently and take ownership of opportunities * Understands that closing often requires multiple conversations and follow-ups Previous marketing/agency sales experience is mandatory.
