Screen printed Tee Shirt Design (Streetwear / Vintage Botanical / Floral Illustration)
Worldwide
We need your help creating a bold, screen-print-ready apparel graphic for a boutique floral design studio — a great project for someone who works at the intersection of botanical illustration, vintage sports aesthetics, and modern streetwear. The client is a small, well-regarded Oklahoma City floral business with a real eye for design. She wants branded merch that turns heads — the kind of shirt people recognize on the street and ask about. she loves Anthropologie: elevated, artisan, curated. DELIVERABLES • 1 custom screen-print apparel graphic (front, or front + back — confirmed after concept approval) • 3 spot colors maximum • Adobe Illustrator source file, color-separated by ink layer, all text outlined • Web-ready PNG for client approval STYLE Modern streetwear meets Anthropologie floral — the kind of look that nods to retro sports club graphics but feels current and considered. Anthropologie is the reference: organic, handcrafted, boutique. The design must include a floral element (not sunflowers, gerber daisies, or baby's breath) and the text "Dahlia Floral Design." A Dahlia illustration is welcome but not required — if you go there, make it exceptional. No continuous line drawing style. COLORS Hunter Green is a strong yes. Turquoise is a hard no. Pastels and neutrals preferred. Max 3 spot colors. Garment color TBD after concept approval — design should work on light color backgrounds. TYPOGRAPHY Freelancer's choice — no brand font required. All text must be outlined in final files. ASSETS I'LL PROVIDE • Existing logo files (7 variations — reference only, logo won't appear in the design) • 8 client-curated inspo photos • Full creative brief document MY ROLE I'm the art director at a screen printing shop in Oklahoma City. I'll provide all creative direction, client assets, and feedback — you bring the illustration craft. I work collaboratively: first deliverable is always rough thumbnail concepts (2–3 directions), then we move to full illustration after approval. Two revision rounds are standard. Final files go straight to our in-house press. HOW TO APPLY 1. Portfolio samples showing relevant style (botanical, apparel, vintage/streetwear, illustrative) 2. Short concept note — 3 to 5 sentences on how you'd approach this project 3. Estimated turnaround for a first round of thumbnail concepts AI DISCLOSURE: This project requires original illustration. AI-generated final artwork is not acceptable. Please note in your application whether any part of your process uses AI tools.
