Screencast Video Creator for a Developer Tool - 5 Videos (Windows or Mac)
Worldwide
We're hiring 3 video creators to make tutorial and walkthrough videos for DevThrottle, a desktop app for developers that runs several command-line coding agents at once. This is a paid first batch, and there is ongoing paid work for the people it goes well with. WHAT THE WORK IS Five videos, minimum. Each one shows the product being used to do a real piece of work, narrated so that a working developer can follow it. At least three minutes each, and it should end when the lesson is complete. You may also cut short-form versions from any of them - those are welcome and count as part of your package. WHAT YOU DELIVER, PER VIDEO - The finished video, plus any shorts you cut from it - The exact title and description text to publish with it - An optional first comment to pin - Posting instructions - tags, thumbnail, visibility, and the timing that gets it the most reach Tell us how to release the batch as well - all five on one day, spread over five days, or whatever you think works hardest. That call is yours; your judgement on this is part of what we are hiring. We publish the videos on our own channel, following your instructions. PAY $100 fixed per creator for the five videos, set up as an Upwork milestone. We are hiring 3 people for this batch and may continue with all three. WHAT YOU GET FROM US AFTER HIRING The software and a licence at no cost to you for the length of the work, documentation, a checklist of the features to cover, reference material, and direct access to the founder while you work. The product is released and it works, but we are moving fast and we won't pretend otherwise - some parts are unfinished and there are still bugs. If you hit one, tell us. Bug reports and suggestions are genuinely useful to us, and raising one will never count against your pay. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR - Comfortable with developer tools - enough to run the app and follow what it is doing on screen. You do not need to be a senior engineer. - Able to record your own screen and narrate clearly in your own voice, in natural English. - No synthetic or AI narration. We want a real person explaining real work. - Windows or Mac. We expect to hire two on Windows and one on Mac. TO APPLY Send links to two or three videos you have already made - screencasts, tutorials or software walkthroughs preferred. Tell us in a couple of sentences whether you work on Windows or Mac, and what you record and edit with. Please do not make anything new for this application.
