Scriptwriter for Business-Documentary Faceless YouTube Channel
Worldwide
We run a long-form business-documentary faceless YouTube channel telling story-driven "what happened" videos about corporate collapses, frauds, secret empires, and downfalls — think deeply-researched rise-and-fall narratives, not news recaps. We're looking for a researcher/scriptwriter who can take a company or story and turn it into a tight, retention-first script that hooks in the first 15 seconds and pays off at the end. What you'll do: - Research a assigned topic thoroughly and accurately, pulling specific figures, dates, direct quotes, and primary sources (earnings, court filings, reputable press). - Write a 2,000–2,500 word script (~10–17 minutes spoken) following our internal structure and style guide, which we'll provide. - Build every script as a chronological rise-and-fall with a strong cold-open hook, escalating tension, and a clear payoff and takeaway. - Nail down every claim with a vivid, contextualized stat or an attributed quote — accuracy is non-negotiable because these become published videos. You're a fit if you: - Have written long-form YouTube scripts, video essays, or narrative nonfiction (business, tech, or documentary a strong plus). - Can make dry financial detail vivid and emotional for a general audience. - Are a rigorous researcher who cross-checks facts across multiple sources and never fabricates. To apply: - Share 1–2 samples of long-form scripts or narrative writing you've done (links preferred). - In 2–3 sentences, tell us about a business collapse or fraud story you find fascinating and why it would make a good video. - Start your application with the word "Blueprint" so we know you read this. Fixed rate per script. Starting rate negotiable based on samples. First paid script is a one-script trial — if it works, we move to a four-script monthly retainer.
