AI Search / GEO Specialist

We're a startup building AI tools for Private Equity teams. We've noticed that when people ask ChatGPT or Perplexity about tools in our space, we don't come up but some competitors do. We're looking for someone to work on this specifically. Not general SEO. We need someone who focuses on how brands get cited or recommended inside AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. What you'll do: Look at where and how we show up (or don't) across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. Work on content that's structured in a way LLMs are more likely to cite. Help with keyword and content strategy for finance and private markets topics. Track our AI citation performance over time and report on it. Give input on things like Reddit, LinkedIn, and other third-party sources that seem to influence AI visibility. What we're looking for: Actual hands-on experience with GEO/AEO, not just someone who lists it as a skill. Some understanding of how ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews decide what to cite. Experience with B2B, SaaS, fintech, or professional services is a plus, not required.
