Senior Accountant Needed for Growing Accounting Firm

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or a business related field required 3+ years work experience Supervisory experience is a plus. Experience with Quickbooks Online strongly preferred. Ability to manage multiple projects utilizing strong planning and organizational skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong presentation skills Extremely detail oriented Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with all levels of management Client focused (both internally and externally) Computer skills to include Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Prepare accurate and complete financial statements for small business clients. Manage Bookkeeping staff. Manage your Administrative Assistant. Meet monthly. Give feedback to Bookkeepers, monthly. Review QuickBooks financial statements. Record adjustments. Take ownership over Accurate Financials. Create checklists for specific client’s close processes. Use Asana (project management software) to manage close processes and communicate progress. Quickbooks Online problem solving skills MUST. Manage engagement budget. Protect scope. Get written authorization for Out of Scope (OOS) work. Report OOS work to Manager for billing. Develop processes to reconcile data between systems. Document these processes. Import data. Process payroll on behalf of clients. Manage Accounts Receivable on behalf of clients. Correspond & meet with clients to explain their financials and answer their questions. Currently, one client requires monthly meetings. Add’l Skills: Be solutions oriented. Strong documentation skills. Creative thinker who can solve problems for clients. Excel skills including Vlookups. Attend monthly internal team meetings. Use Slack to communicate with team and some clients.
