Senior Accountant (Philippine CPA) – Stable, Long-Term Part-Time (US GAAP & QBO)

As she transitions her focus toward internal systems and administration, we are looking for a second talented, senior-level Philippine CPA to partner with us for the long haul . True Team Support: You won’t be alone in the books. Our dedicated Junior CPA handles bank feeds, transaction pulls, and first-pass reconciliations . You get to step in at the high-level senior capacity to handle adjusting entries and final reviews. Flexible Hours with Ebb-and-Flow: 10 to 30 hours per week (averaging around 20 hours/week). The hours naturally ebb and flow around quarterly close periods, giving you excellent flexibility. What You’ll Be Doing: Quarterly Review & Close: Finalizing draft quarterly financials prepared by our Junior CPA, solving adjusting journal entries, and ensuring audit-ready P&Ls and Balance Sheets. Multi-Entity Allocations: Helping manage intercompany transactions and clean cross-entity credit card allocations . Investment & Partnership Bookkeeping: Assisting with tracking passive investments and active business holdings held within Family Limited Partnerships (we will train and guide you through this!). SOP Collaboration: Helping us document and update our internal procedures library using video meetings and AI tools (Gemini) . Second-Set-of-Eyes Reviews: Reviewing custom financial spreadsheets or reports before they go to clients . Who We Are Looking For: License: Active Philippine Certified Public Accountant (CPA) . Experience: Strong background in US GAAP and multi-entity accounting. Experience handling family partnerships or investment statements is a big plus, but not a dealbreaker! Software: Highly proficient with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Google Workspace. Experience with Asana (or similar task manager) and comfort with Hubstaff for time-tracking is required . Communication & Hours: Outstanding written and verbal English. You must have the flexibility to align about 4 to 8 hours per week during US Eastern/Central business hours for team touchpoints (mainly Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoons US time). Outside of these short meetings, your hours are completely flexible! Confidentiality: This is a highly secure, relationship-based role. You must be willing to personally do the work—no outsourcing or delegating to junior assistants.
