Senior Azure Platform & AI Engineer — Long-Term | Enterprise | Remote (Europe)

We're looking for a Senior Azure Platform / AI Engineer to join a long-term engagement with an enterprise client. You'll work embedded alongside the client's IT and Security teams, driving cloud infrastructure, AI/ML deployments, and DevOps practices in a sprint-based delivery model. Responsibilities: - Architect and maintain Azure infrastructure: AKS, Entra ID, Managed Identities, RBAC, Key Vault, API Management, Blob Storage, AI Search, Private Endpoints, VNets, Network Security Perimeters, multi-region - Deploy and operate AI/ML workloads: Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, Azure ML, LLM deployments, vLLM, RAG pipelines, multi-agent systems, embedding pipelines - Own DevOps & IaC: Terraform, GitHub Actions (OIDC federation), Helm/Kustomize, CI/CD, secret management - Data integrations: Microsoft Fabric, PostgreSQL, Python ETL, Power BI API - Support backend/frontend layer: Python/FastAPI (async), React + TypeScript (Vite) Requirements: - 5+ years of hands-on Azure platform engineering - Strong client-facing communication — you'll interface directly with enterprise IT and Security stakeholders - Proven track record in complex, multi-team enterprise environments Nice to have: - Production AKS and Azure ML model serving experience - Azure OpenAI deployed in production - Locked-down or regulated Azure tenants (zero-trust, NSP, private networking) -Experience in FDE / embedded team engagements Engagement: Remote · Europe · Long-term · Sprint-based · Start ASAP
