About the Role We're seeking a Senior Bubble Developer to own day-to-day development and support of our live Bubble app, and to lead the migration of workflows into APIs. This hybrid role blends no-code delivery with modern engineering practices, and you'll be the person shaping our transition to a React + API architecture — building both sides of it. Key Responsibilities & Skills 🔹 Bubble Development & Support Design, build, and maintain scalable applications on Bubble's visual platform Implement complex workflows, secure data models, and features such as authentication, payments, and data visualisation Create responsive, user-friendly interfaces for desktop and mobile Collaborate with designers to turn Figma designs into production-ready UI Monitor performance, resolve issues, and keep the app current with platform updates 🔹 API Integration & Migration Build and consume custom APIs and integrate with our backend Ensure secure, scalable, and efficient handling of data Monitor, test, and optimise API performance 🔹 Collaboration & Delivery Work in agile sprints with PMs, designers, and backend engineers Communicate clearly with stakeholders and resolve blockers quickly Contribute to architectural decisions and maintain documentation 🔹 Technical Expertise 4+ years of hands-on commercial Bubble development — workflows, backend/API workflows, database privacy rules, plugins, integrations, and testing Experience diagnosing and resolving performance and workload-unit issues on a live app Strong REST API integration skills, including authentication and error handling Working knowledge of security, data privacy, and compliance obligations, including the Australian Privacy Act and APPs 🔹 Professional Approach Self-managed and delivery-focused in agile environments Comfortable mentoring and sharing knowledge across the team Compensation & Benefits - Competitive hourly rate, based on experience - Work on a live healthtech platform with real users - Access to modern tooling, cloud platforms, and best practices - Direct engagement with contractors (no agency please)
