Senior Creative Strategist
Worldwide
We're a fast-growing direct-to-consumer apparel brand in the men's wellness/performance space, primarily targeting the US market, with expansion into UK, Canada, and Australia. We run high-volume paid acquisition on Meta and Google, and we're scaling fast. We already have a creative strategist on the team. We're now looking to bring on a second senior creative strategist to join as a core, ongoing member of the team, not a one-off project, and to help us build out a real creative department with more volume, more formats, more testing velocity, and a proper structure for managing editors, UGC creators, and freelancers. This isn't an entry-level gig, and it isn't a quick freelance task. We're looking for someone who has genuinely operated at a senior level inside brands that scaled to 8 or 9 figures, who wants a long-term seat on a growing team, and who can help shape how our creative operation scales from here. *WHAT YOU'LL OWN* You'll drive creative strategy and direction, working alongside our existing creative strategist, for a high-volume paid social account across Meta and Google, covering UGC, animated, voiceover, and static ad formats. You'll own the video ad production pipeline end to end: briefing, scripting, sourcing talent and editors, reviewing cuts, and shipping a consistent volume of high-quality, high-performing creative every week. You'll bring psychological and persuasion frameworks tailored to our core avatar, men aged 40 to 60, using hooks, pattern interrupts, and offer stacking, and you'll know how to translate performance data straight into creative direction. As we grow, you'll help build and lead the creative team, structuring and directing editors, UGC creators, and freelancers, effectively co-running the creative department with our existing strategist. You'll also keep us ahead on competitive intelligence, tracking what's working for competitors and turning that into original angles rather than copies. *WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR* On the strategic side, you should be comfortable reading performance metrics like ROAS, CTR, hook rate, thumb-stop ratio, and CPA, and translating them into concrete creative decisions. You understand persuasion frameworks such as AIDA and PAS, transformation storytelling, social proof, and urgency, and you can identify winning angles from data by understanding why a video performs, not just that it does. You have strong competitive research instincts and know how to analyze competitor creative and extract usable patterns without copying. You have a deep understanding of our target persona, US men aged 40 to 60, including their objections, language, and cultural codes, and you bring niche-specific sensitivity in fashion or apparel and/or supplements or wellness, understanding what builds credibility in this space. Your fluency with the US market is native-level, giving you a real feel for tone and nuance rather than just theoretical knowledge. On production, you have strong scripting skills across UGC, VSL, voiceover, and native ad formats, and you know how to write hooks that stop the scroll in 2 to 3 seconds. You can art-direct video and animation formats with clear storyboarding and briefs for editors, and you're comfortable using AI generation tools like Midjourney, Kling, Seedance, or Higgsfield to scale volume efficiently. You have a proven ability to sustain high creative volume without sacrificing quality, since that's usually the real bottleneck at scale. On leadership, you've managed a team of creators including editors, UGC talent, and freelancers, handling briefing, feedback, and deadlines. You know how to set up repeatable processes like script banks, brief templates, and structured testing systems, and you're strong at prioritization, deciding which concepts to test first and how to allocate creative budget across angles. In terms of track record, you have 5 or more years in direct response or performance creative strategy for e-commerce or DTC brands, with proven experience scaling creative for brands that reached 8 or 9 figures in revenue (please reference this directly in your application). You've worked hands-on with brands running high-spend Meta ad accounts, and you can point to specific brands you've worked with and the results your creative helped drive, not just general experience. Your English communication is excellent, since you'll be briefing and leading a remote team. You're resilient with creative failure, since most tests won't scale, and you iterate fast without losing momentum. Most importantly, you're genuinely looking for a long-term, ongoing role as part of a growing team rather than a short-term project. *NICE TO HAVE* Experience building or managing UGC or influencer pipelines, copywriting skills for ad scripts and hooks beyond video such as email or landing pages, and direct experience working alongside media buyers to turn performance data into new creative briefs. *HOW TO APPLY* Applications without a portfolio or video/images examples will not be considered. To be considered, please include a portfolio or reel showing your video/image ad work, along with 2 to 3 specific examples of creative you led, whether that's a link to a Google Drive, an ad library, or a live portfolio site. Please also name the brand or brands you've worked with that scaled on Meta, along with a short breakdown of your specific role in their creative engine and what results your work helped drive. On top of that, let us know your availability in hours per week, your rate expectations, hourly or retainer, and a note on why you're looking for a long-term team role rather than one-off freelance projects. We're moving fast on this hire, so please only apply if you have direct, verifiable experience at the level described above, can back it up with real work samples, and are genuinely looking to commit to a growing team long-term.
