Senior Data Engineer – MDM, TIBCO EBX, Java, Azure & Analytics Job Description We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Master Data Management (MDM), TIBCO EBX, Java, cloud data platforms, and analytics engineering for a remote contract engagement. The consultant will work across MDM application development, data engineering, APIs, cloud data platforms, dimensional modelling, and analytics/reporting solutions. Engagement Details Position: Senior Data Engineer – MDM, Data Platform & Analytics Experience: 8–12 Years Work Mode: Remote Working Days: Monday to Friday Working Hours: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM IST Client Timezone: GMT+8, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Engagement Type: Contract Selection Process: 2 Technical Rounds The candidate must be willing and able to work consistently in the required GMT+8 / 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM IST schedule. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain the Master Data Management (MDM) web application using TIBCO EBX and Java. Build and maintain Master Data and Reference Data APIs to support enterprise-wide data consistency. Develop and maintain frontend and backend application components. Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure data pipelines. Design and support cloud-based data lake and data warehouse architectures. Develop scalable data pipelines to extract data from multiple source systems and transform data inside the data warehouse. Develop data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and SQL. Optimize cloud data workflows for performance and cost efficiency. Work with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS. Work with modern data-platform technologies such as Databricks. Develop microservices for data integration using Python or TypeScript. Transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets using dimensional modelling / Kimball methodology. Create dashboards and reports using Power BI. Implement data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks. Monitor and troubleshoot data-platform performance and reliability issues. Collaborate with data analysts, analytics engineers, developers, and business stakeholders. Provide technical leadership and design guidance across MDM, data-platform, and analytics solutions. Review the quality, performance, and consistency of APIs, pipelines, data models, and dashboards. Prepare high-level and detailed technical designs. Apply coding, testing, deployment, and CI/CD best practices. Participate in Agile processes including Scrum and Kanban. Contribute to engineering standards and continuous improvement of the data platform. Required Skills Candidates should have strong hands-on experience with: Master Data Management (MDM) TIBCO EBX Java web application development Master Data and Reference Data APIs Data Engineering Python PySpark SQL Microsoft Azure or AWS Databricks Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools Microservices using Python or TypeScript Data lake / data warehouse architecture Dimensional modelling / Kimball methodology Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar relational databases Power BI CI/CD Performance optimization and troubleshooting Integrated system architecture and design Experience Requirements 8–12 years of overall professional experience At least 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or Analytics Engineering At least 5 years of experience in architecture, design, and development of integrated systems Strong practical experience with MDM and TIBCO EBX Preferred / Additional Skills Azure DevOps Azure Cloud Services Tableau Agile / Scrum / Kanban DevOps methodologies Secure coding practices CI/CD pipelines Experience working in teams of five or more members Experience working with senior stakeholders across different cultures Secure Coding, Scrum, or DevOps certifications are a plus Important Application Requirements This opportunity is intended only for individual candidates who are currently based in India and eligible to work in India.
