Senior Datacenter Solutions Engineer

We are a US data center infrastructure company supporting an anchor account engagement on multiple AI-grade development sites. We need a senior Solutions Engineer to translate manufacturer product specifications into customer-facing engineering packages, coordinate civil and electrical pre-development deliverables through our A&E partner stack, and own day-to-day technical execution across the account. What you'll do: Author Site Triage deliverables — 1–2 week customer site evaluations with cost band, lead-time impact, go/no-go recommendation Coordinate civil site planning deliverables alongside our A&E partner, QA-ing civil/structural outputs even when not the primary engineer Translate manufacturer specifications (modular DC modules, MV switchgear, transformers, gensets) into customer site-specific engineering packages Co-author one-line diagrams, load analyses, and primary service configurations alongside our A&E/MEP partner Coordinate permitting and utility energization processes with municipalities and utilities Support customer technical conversations; own the technical discovery process Build reusable scoping templates as the customer pipeline expands Required: 8+ years at a major data center power or modular infrastructure OEM (Vertiv, Schneider, Eaton, ABB, Siemens, Cummins, Crusoe, Armada, BMarko, Submer, Stulz) Direct experience scoping integrated power + modular DC solutions Strong electrical engineering background — MV switchgear, transformer sizing, UPS systems Familiarity with permitting workflows and utility interconnection processes AI workload aux-infrastructure familiarity (high-density cooling, augmented power, BMS/DCIM tie-in) Fluent in customer-facing engineering documentation Nice to have: BSEE or PE license HPC/AI workload experience Liquid cooling familiarity (DLC; immersion exposure a plus) Civil/structural coordination experience To apply: sample of customer-facing engineering work (sanitized)
