Senior Electrical Engineer – Altium Designer | High-Speed Digital Hardware | Long-Term Opportunity iBlades.ai is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design of next-generation cybersecurity and embedded networking products. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring complete product development experience—from architecture and schematic capture through PCB layout, prototype bring-up, debugging, manufacturing support, and production. Our products combine embedded Linux, NXP processors, Raspberry Pi CM5, LTE/5G, USB-C, Gigabit Ethernet, secure communications, and custom hardware into commercial and government products. Required Experience 8+ years Electrical Engineering experience Expert with Altium Designer Schematic capture Multi-layer PCB layout (6+ layers) High-speed digital design DDR memory routing Gigabit Ethernet USB 2.0 / USB 3.x Power supply design Prototype bring-up and debugging Design for Manufacturing (DFM) Design for Test (DFT) Oscilloscope and logic analyzer experience Highly Desired Experience with one or more of: NXP Layerscape processors (LS1012A preferred) Embedded Linux LTE/5G modem integration PCIe Signal Integrity EMI/EMC Battery-powered devices This is NOT a PCB layout-only position. We're looking for an engineer who has personally designed complete electronic products from concept through production and is comfortable making architecture decisions, selecting components, debugging hardware, and supporting manufacturing. Please answer the following: How many complete products have you personally designed from schematic through production? How many years have you used Altium Designer? Have you designed products using DDR memory? Have you designed Gigabit Ethernet products? Have you designed products using USB-C or USB 3.x? Have you integrated LTE or 5G modules? Describe the most technically challenging board you've designed. Please provide screenshots or PDFs of PCB layouts and schematics you personally designed (with confidential information removed if necessary). Please include links to any products you helped design that reached production. This is initially a contract position with the potential to become a long-term engineering leadership role supporting multiple cybersecurity and embedded hardware platforms.
