Senior QA Engineer

We are a tech company in a podcast space seeking a dedicated QA Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of our software. This role is primarily manual testing, with the potential to contribute to automated tests using TypeScript + Playwright in the future. You’ll work closely with developers in a fast-paced startup environment building a data-driven application with a rich and complex UI. What you will do: - Perform manual testing of new features, fixes, and product changes - Run regression and exploratory testing - Identify, document, and verify bugs with clear reproduction steps - Validate requirements, edge cases, and **data-related logic** before release - Collaborate closely with developers on issue resolution and product / feature / client requirement clarifications - Explore and inspect data in DBs (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse) to find potential issues and prepare data/records for testing via UI or DB Requirements - Senior-level experience in manual QA (web applications) - Understanding of REST APIs, best practices, and at least one tool for testing APIs and sending requests - Strong understanding of functional, regression, and exploratory testing - Ability and willingness to work with little to no documentation, and to be proactive when required information is missing or unclear - Comfortable working with data-driven applications, including validating calculations (e.g. percentages, multiplications/divisions, basic numeric relationships) - Availability to work CET hours - Must be full-time (not combined with another job). - Weekend availability for additional hours is a plus
