Senior Estimator in Jacksonville

CO-Ver, a construction tech company, is seeking a Construction Estimator who combines strong estimating skills with modern technology and AI tools. You will prepare accurate estimates, perform digital takeoffs, and use advanced software to streamline pre-construction and budgeting for commercial, residential, or multifamily projects. ** Commercial General Contracting Estimation experience REQUIRED** Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates, takeoffs, and proposals Review drawings, specs, and project documents Use digital estimating tools (PlanSwift, ProEst, Bluebeam, STACK, etc.) Leverage AI platforms (Togal.AI, OpenSpace, ClearEdge3D, or similar) Analyze labor, material, and subcontractor pricing Collaborate with project managers and pre-construction teams Maintain cost databases and support value engineering Analyze change orders based on current industry standard pricing Qualifications 5+ years of construction estimating experience Strong understanding of materials, trades, and construction methods Proficiency with digital estimating software Familiarity with AI or willingness to learn quickly Ability to read architectural/engineering plans Preferred Experience with Procore, Autodesk, Buildertrend, or BIM-based estimating Exposure to AI takeoff tools or automation workflows
