Senior Fashion Retoucher & Apparel Photo Editor (NOT Graphic Design)

THIS IS NOT A GRAPHIC DESIGN POSITION: We are hiring a professional fashion/apparel photo retoucher with experience editing clothing for ecommerce, advertising, and luxury brands. If your portfolio is primarily logos, branding, websites, social media graphics, or general graphic design, this position is not a fit. We are a premium women's golf apparel brand looking for an experienced professional fashion photo editor to cull, organize, and edit RAW images from our lifestyle and studio photoshoots. This is not a wedding photography job or a basic Lightroom preset application. We're looking for someone with a strong eye for luxury fashion, apparel fit, color accuracy, and ecommerce imagery. Experience editing for brands similar to: • Lululemon • Athleta • Nike • Alo Yoga • Vuori • G/FORE • TravisMathew • Peter Millar • Greyson • Adidas What You'll Do Phase 1: Cull Images Review RAW images and identify the strongest photographs based on: Sharp focus Best facial expressions Strong posing Flattering body positioning Garment presentation Fabric appearance Print visibility Lighting quality Composition Brand consistency Remove: Blinks Soft focus Duplicates Awkward poses Unflattering expressions Distracting body positions Images where the apparel doesn't look its best SEND FOR APPROVAL BEFORE PHASE 2. Phase 2: Professional Editing Edit selected images to a premium commercial standard. Typical adjustments include: White balance Exposure Contrast Highlights/Shadows Color correction Lens corrections Straightening Cropping Skin cleanup (natural only) Temporary blemish removal Stray hair cleanup Teeth whitening (subtle) Eye enhancement (natural) Fabric cleanup Wrinkle reduction where appropriate Background cleanup Color consistency across the entire shoot Apparel Is the Priority: Our clothing must look exceptional, especially our detailed prints. Experience editing apparel is extremely important. You should understand how to preserve: Fabric texture Garment drape Compression fabrics White garments Black garments Detailed prints Accurate colors Stitching details No over-smoothing. No plastic-looking skin. No fake HDR. No overly saturated colors. No trendy editing styles. We want timeless, luxury-quality imagery.
