Senior AI / Full-Stack Developer - Mobile app plus

We are looking for one highly capable senior developer to work with us on an existing women’s health and fertility technology platform. This is not a general web-development role. We need someone who is comfortable taking ownership of a technically sensitive product involving healthcare data, fertility/cycle logic, algorithms, AI, security, and scalable backend architecture. What We’re Looking For You should have strong hands-on experience with: - Full-stack application development - Backend architecture and API development - Algorithm design and complex business logic - AI/ML integration where appropriate - Healthcare software and sensitive health data - HIPAA-oriented application architecture and security practices - Databases and longitudinal/time-series data - Production code reviews and technical audits - Testing, debugging, performance, and scalability Women’s Health Experience Is Required We are specifically looking for someone who understands that fertility software requires more than basic calendar calculations. You should be comfortable working with prediction logic, changing physiological signals, incomplete data, confidence levels, edge cases, and personalized user histories. Initial Assignment – Technical Audit The engagement will begin with a paid 1–2 day technical audit of an existing application. We expect direct, objective feedback. If something is implemented well, say so. If something is weak, overcomplicated, unsafe, inaccurate, or poorly designed, we want you to identify it clearly and explain the correct solution. Communication Matters a Lot Technical ability alone is not enough for this position. We need someone who: - Communicates clearly and proactively - Can explain complex technical decisions in practical English - Is responsive and dependable - Can work collaboratively with other developers - Takes ownership instead of waiting for step-by-step instructions - Pays close attention to details - Is genuinely committed to the quality of the product Fluent English is required. Near-native spoken and written English is strongly preferred. We value strong engineers and prefer building long-term working relationships rather than constantly changing developers. If the audit goes well and you demonstrate strong technical judgment, communication, and ownership, there will be an opportunity to continue with the implementation and potentially become a long-term member of our core development team. We are looking for a senior engineer who can understand an existing system quickly, identify what is genuinely wrong, and help us build the right architecture for the long term. If possible, you should also be able to perform mobile app development yourself.
