## Senior Full-Stack Developer Needed for On-Demand AI/Vibe Coding Mentorship I’m looking for an experienced full-stack developer who can act as an **on-demand technical mentor/advisor while I build real software projects using AI-assisted coding tools**. ### Important: I am NOT looking for someone to build everything for me. I will be doing the actual development myself using AI coding tools/agents. Your role is to help me when I get stuck, review what I’m building, catch mistakes, and make sure AI-generated code and technical decisions are actually suitable for production. This is also **not a structured programming course or daily teaching position**. ### What I need help with Depending on the project, I may message you for help with things such as: * Debugging errors I cannot resolve * Reviewing AI-generated/AI-assisted code * Code quality and maintainability * Software architecture and implementation decisions * Frontend/backend integration * APIs and third-party integrations * Database design and queries * Authentication and authorization * Security issues * Git/GitHub problems * Deployment and infrastructure * Performance/scalability * Production-readiness * Reviewing an AI agent's proposed solution before I implement it * Giving me a second technical opinion when I’m unsure about something Sometimes I may simply send you a problem and ask, “What’s wrong here?” or “Is this a good architecture?” Other times I may send code/repository context for you to review. ### Technologies Projects may vary, but my work can involve technologies such as: * JavaScript / TypeScript * React / Next.js * Node.js * REST APIs * PostgreSQL / MySQL * Prisma * Git / GitHub I may also work with other frameworks and technologies depending on the project, so I value someone who understands software engineering fundamentals and can adapt rather than someone limited to one stack. ### How the arrangement works This is **light, on-demand support**, not continuous development work. I may have several questions on one day and no questions at all on another day. You should be able to continue working with your other clients/projects. I am not expecting you to sit at your computer waiting for me. However, I would like us to agree on a daily **availability/overlap window**. During those agreed hours, I would ideally like a response within approximately **30 minutes when reasonably possible**, especially if I’m blocked on development. Outside the agreed availability window, slower responses are completely understandable. If something turns into substantial hands-on development rather than mentoring/advice, we can scope and pay for that work separately. ### Client meetings Occasionally, I may also have client meetings where deeper technical questions come up. It would be a strong advantage if you are comfortable occasionally joining those meetings with reasonable notice and helping answer technical questions directly. ### Trial first I prefer to start with a **small 2–3 day paid trial** before committing to a longer-term arrangement. During the trial, I’ll work normally and send you real technical questions/problems as they arise. I mainly want to evaluate: * Technical judgment * Problem-solving ability * Code-review quality * Communication * Response time * Whether your explanations are practical and understandable * Whether our working styles fit I am not expecting several days of free development work. The trial will be paid. If the trial goes well, I’m interested in establishing an **ongoing relationship potentially lasting 6+ months**. ### Long-term compensation I’m open to either: * Hourly support, or * A fixed weekly retainer for light/on-demand availability My preference is ultimately a predictable weekly arrangement if we find a structure that works well for both sides.
