Senior Full-Stack Developer Needed for Healthcare Analytics Dashboard

We’re looking for an experienced **Full-Stack Developer** to urgently troubleshoot and resolve a data-related issue in an existing **Healthcare Analytics Dashboard**. The dashboard is already live and actively processes healthcare-related data through the database, backend/API, and frontend. The main issue we’re currently seeing is **inconsistent appointment metrics when different filters are applied**. For example, the overall appointment count may appear correct, but after applying filters such as: * Date range * Provider * Facility * Appointment status * Other dashboard filters the results may become inaccurate. In some cases, the same appointment may be counted more than once, while in other cases the filtered results may not match the underlying data. **This issue needs to be resolved urgently**, as accurate appointment metrics are important to the functionality and reliability of the dashboard. We need someone who can investigate the issue **end to end**, rather than simply making adjustments to the frontend display. The work may involve reviewing: * Database structure and relevant PostgreSQL/SQL queries * Backend logic and data-processing functions * API endpoints and responses * Filtering and aggregation logic * Relationships between relevant database tables * Frontend/dashboard filtering behavior * Potential duplicate records or incorrect joins * How appointment data is transformed between the database, API, and dashboard The goal is to identify the **actual root cause of the inconsistent metrics** and implement a reliable fix without disrupting existing dashboard functionality. This is **not a simple UI or frontend task**. The issue may involve the interaction between the database, backend, API, and frontend, so strong full-stack debugging and problem-solving skills are essential. ### Required Experience The ideal developer should have hands-on experience with: * React / Next.js * TypeScript / JavaScript * Node.js and/or Python * PostgreSQL / SQL * REST APIs * Data processing and aggregation * Analytics dashboards * Full-stack debugging Experience with **healthcare data, healthcare applications, or other data-intensive production systems** is a strong plus. ### Portfolio & Relevant Experience — Required To be considered, you **must provide relevant portfolio examples and specific examples of similar issues you have previously worked on and resolved**. Please include relevant projects or case studies that demonstrate your experience with areas such as: * Data-driven or analytics dashboards * Database and SQL debugging * API or backend data issues * Data consistency, filtering, aggregation, or duplicate-record problems * Similar production-level full-stack issues **Proposals without relevant portfolio examples or specific case studies will not be considered.** We are looking for demonstrated experience with similar real-world problems, not just a list of skills. ### Initial Project & Budget The initial project is a **$50 fixed-price project** to investigate the current issue, identify the root cause, and implement the appropriate fix. **Please do not submit a proposal with a bid above $50. Proposals exceeding the $50 budget will not be considered.** If the initial issue is successfully resolved, we expect there may be **approximately 5–10 hours of additional work per month** for ongoing dashboard maintenance and development. Future work may include troubleshooting, dashboard updates, new analytics features, data processing improvements, API integrations, database improvements, performance optimization, and other full-stack development tasks.
