Senior Full‑Stack Developer (AI + Supabase, Cursor) – Full‑Time, Remote
Worldwide
Cloud29 builds AI‑powered operational systems for installation businesses (fire & security, roofing, electrical, etc.). We take them from spreadsheets and scattered tools to one system that runs everything from enquiry to invoice. Your first 3 months will be focused on building our “First Fix” master template that we can clone for new clients. After that, you’ll integrate into the team and own at least 5 client projects at once without becoming a bottleneck. This is a full‑time role for someone hungry who wants to grow with one product, not juggle agency work. Role in One Sentence You build systems that actually work in the real world, live in Cursor and our stack all day, communicate with clear video updates, and keep multiple projects moving so the founder doesn’t have to jump into the code. What You’ll Do (First 3 Months – First Fix) • Build the First Fix master template for installation businesses using our stack (Cursor + Supabase + Cloud29 OS + external APIs) • Make the system highly dynamic and configurable, including: • Pipelines from enquiry → estimate/proposal → survey → quote → job → invoice • Custom labels/terminology (estimates vs quotes vs proposals, etc.) • AI prompt / rules engine that routes cases into the right queues based on what customers say • Customer‑owned cron jobs, email/SMS templates, and document templates (POs, quotes, invoices, etc.) • Self‑serve integrations (Google, accounting, comms tools) with in‑app setup instructions so clients connect their own accounts • Design First Fix so future modules can plug in cleanly without rewrites • Record short Loom videos inside tickets explaining what you built, how it works, and how to test it • Test flows end‑to‑end like a real user and fix issues before they hit clients (no “ticket done” that doesn’t actually work) What You’ll Do After 3 Months • Take ownership of a minimum of 5 client implementations at any time • Keep those projects moving without blocking others • Continue improving First Fix based on real‑world usage • Stay proactive: if nothing is assigned, you find useful work (refactors, UX fixes, docs) without waiting to be told Day‑to‑Day Expectations • Be online and responsive Monday–Friday, 9:00–18:00 UK time (responses in minutes, not hours) • Work only with Cloud29 (no agencies, no multiple “main” clients) • Start each day by pulling work; never wait passively for tasks • Offer to take work off the founder’s plate when you can see there’s pressure • Communicate clearly and often via tickets, Loom videos, and Slack • Think from a business and product perspective, not just “code is done” • Give constructive suggestions for the future, but once a decision is made you execute it without endless debate Tech Stack & Tools • JavaScript / TypeScript • React / Next.js‑style front‑end • Supabase / Postgres • REST APIs and webhooks (Google, accounting platforms, SMS/email providers, etc.) • Cursor (AI coding environment) – daily • Git / GitHub • Loom, Slack, and our internal Cloud29 OS Requirements • 3+ years as a full‑stack dev (or strong front‑end/back‑end with real product experience) • Proven experience building configurable systems (user‑defined settings, dynamic flows, multi‑step pipelines) • Very comfortable integrating and debugging APIs and webhooks • Daily user of AI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, etc.) and happy to live in Cursor all day • Strong English; clear written and spoken communication • Comfortable recording Loom videos to explain work and decisions • High ownership: you feel pressure when things are stuck and move to unblock them Compensation • $2,500/month full‑time, long‑term • Fully remote How to Apply (Read Carefully) Send: 1. A short message that includes: • 1–2 complex systems you’ve built that were configurable or multi‑step • The tech stack you used (front‑end, backend, DB, APIs, AI tools) 2. Links to GitHub or code samples showing: • Dynamic config (user‑defined workflows/labels/settings) • API integrations 3. Confirmation that: • You can work 9:00–18:00 UK time, Monday–Friday • You are not part of an agency and not juggling multiple main clients 4. A Loom video (max 7 minutes) where you: • Introduce yourself and your background • Show or describe one system you built that was highly configurable (what users could change and how) • Talk through, at a high level, how you would design First Fix so we can clone it for many installation businesses and keep it highly dynamic • Show or describe how you use Cursor/AI tools in your day‑to‑day coding Paste the Loom link in your application. If there is no Loom, we won’t review your application. Applications that don’t follow these steps will be ignored.
