About the project erabroad.health is a bilingual (English/Japanese) medical communication app for foreign residents and visitors in Japan. Users mark where their pain is on a 3D body model, answer a short series of symptom questions, and the app generates a structured summary they can hand to Japanese medical staff — as a PDF or a QR code link that expires after 48 hours. It is a communication and translation aid, not a diagnostic tool. That distinction is central to how the product is built and positioned. Where the project stands A working web app already exists. The backend and frontend are both functional and running. A previous development team built the core, and a recent round of work added assessment history, an admin dashboard, rate limiting, and several security fixes. What is not done: the app has never been submitted to the App Store, and several App Store compliance requirements are still open.
