Senior Full Stack Developer for Real Estate SaaS (Long Term, Supabase + React)
Worldwide
About the product RealPeep is a SaaS platform for solo residential real estate agents. Every tool in this space chases leads, coaching, or another CRM. We handle what happens after the deal is won: transaction tracking, net commission calculation, closing checklists, smart nudges, and business goal visibility. I am a working real estate agent and the founder, so product decisions come from real workflows, not guesses. RealPeep tracks an agent's own numbers. It does not move money or handle payouts. Commission splits are between the agent and their broker, and the agent is the only person who sees their data. I am looking for one developer to own this codebase long term. Not a task taker, not a one off contract. What you will actually work on Fixing and extending features in a live product Complex multi step workflows: transaction wizards, onboarding flows, state driven dashboards Commission math that has to be exactly right: gross commission, broker splits, charged fees, caps, net calculations Data modeling where edge cases have real consequences for a user's income tracking Supabase: Postgres schema, auth, row level security, edge functions Turning Figma frames into shipped UI Small, frequent PRs that I review before merge Stack [React / Next.js], [TypeScript], Supabase (Postgres, Auth, RLS), Google OAuth, [hosting: Vercel or other], Figma for design handoff, Slack for comms. Who I am looking for 5+ years shipping production web applications You have owned a codebase, not just closed tickets someone else scoped Strong with financial or numerical logic and the edge cases around it You estimate fast and accurately. If it will take three days, you tell me on day one, not day four You communicate proactively when blocked instead of going quiet You use AI coding tools well and can tell me honestly where they help and where you do not trust them Available ongoing, [15 to 30] hours per week to start, with room to grow [Timezone or location requirement, if any] Nice to have, not required: real estate, proptech, or fintech experience. How we work Slack for day to day, Figma for design, one call per week, short async updates otherwise. I write the specs and I expect you to push back when a spec is wrong. I care more about being correct than about being agreed with. Hiring process Short proposal (see below) 30 minute call Paid trial: one real scoped bug fix or small feature from the actual backlog, paid at your normal rate Ongoing engagement if the trial goes well To apply, include all of the following Start your proposal with the word Commission so I know you read this. Two or three apps you built that involved complex multi step workflows or financial calculations. Tell me specifically what you built, not what the team built One time you got money logic or state logic wrong. How you caught it and what you changed afterward Your hourly rate and weekly availability Answer this: an agent marked a deal closed and it's counted in their yearly income total. They then realize they entered the wrong broker split percentage and correct it. What happens to their year total, and what should the agent see? Two or three sentences is enough. Template proposals get ignored. I read every one that follows the instructions above.
