Senior Full-Stack Developer for Real-Time Multiplayer Web App (Phaser.js / Node.js / WebSockets)

Project Overview: We are developing a gamified social platform and interactive event space. The core engine features a 2D retro-style pixel virtual world (similar to Habbo Hotel or Gather.town) where users can walk around as avatars in distinct rooms (10-15 players per room). We need a full-stack expert to build the virtual environment, integrate proximity-based voice chat, and connect interactive objects within the rooms that trigger existing external web applications via custom web views/overlay UI panels. Key Responsibilities: •⁠ ⁠Build the 2D pixel isometric room frontend using Phaser.js, Babylon.js, or HTML5 Canvas. •⁠ ⁠Develop the real-time multiplayer backend using Node.js/TypeScript with Colyseus.io or Socket.io. •⁠ ⁠Integrate a third-party WebRTC Voice Chat SDK (LiveKit, Agora.io, or Daily.co) with proximity audio logic (volume fades based on avatar distance). •⁠ ⁠Connect the lobby with our existing user authentication system (JWT/Auth token verification) for seamless single-sign-on (SSO). •⁠ ⁠Implement a modern UI overlay system (sliding panels/phone interface) that safely embeds and renders external web applications via secure iframe structures.
