Senior Full Stack Developer

Position: Full Stack Engineer Location: Romania / Hungary (Remote) Timezone: European Budget: 1500 to 1800 USD / Month Type: Full-time ( 8 hours/day) We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with strong TypeScript, React, and Node.js skills to join TechThrone, a fast-growing startup building innovative digital products for a global customer base. This is an exciting opportunity to play a core role in building and scaling our platform. Working across a React front end and Node.js back end, you'll have high autonomy, own features end-to-end, and help shape our engineering culture in a fast-paced startup environment. The Role As a Full Stack Engineer, you will: • Design and build scalable, high-performance web applications using TypeScript, React, and Node.js. • Take full ownership of features from concept and architecture to production deployment. • Build modular UI components and maintain robust, low-latency APIs. • Collaborate directly with product and design to iterate rapidly on new product initiatives. • Champion front-end performance, backend reliability, and clean code standards across the codebase. • Contribute to technical decisions, architecture, and developer tooling. About You You are a full-stack engineer who thrives in an early-stage or high-growth startup setting. You bring strong product instincts, enjoy taking initiative, and excel at shipping clean, maintainable TypeScript across the entire stack. Skills & Experience Essential: • 4+ years of commercial experience in full-stack software development. • Deep expertise in TypeScript across both front-end and back-end environments. • Strong hands-on experience with modern React (state management, performance tuning, component architecture). • Solid backend experience with Node.js (Express, NestJS, or similar frameworks). • Proven track record designing and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs. • Experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL). • Comfort with startup ambiguity, fast iteration cycles, and high ownership. • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach in remote teams. Desirable: • Experience with Next.js, SSR, or modern React frameworks. • Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. • Experience with automated testing tools (Vitest, Jest, Playwright). • Familiarity with state management tools (Zustand, React Query). • Practical use of AI-assisted dev tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to boost velocity.
