Senior Full-Stack Engineer — Kubernetes / Cloud-Native / Go (Contract)

Job Description: We're Thoras AI, an early-stage AI startup building the future of autonomous Kubernetes infrastructure management. We're looking for a senior full-stack engineer to jump in, move fast, and own real product — not just tickets. What you'll do: Design and build core product features end-to-end — from data models and APIs to production-facing surfaces customers depend on Work across our Kubernetes/cloud-native stack (AWS EKS, VPC, IAM, ECS, containers) Identify failure modes before they become incidents — you've seen what tutorials don't cover Sit with customers, develop product judgment, and translate conversations into filed issues and shipped fixes Own your work from design through production What we're looking for: Strong backend fundamentals — you're at home designing data models, building APIs, and living in a database Hands-on experience shipping software that production environments depend on across Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, and the broader cloud-native stack Proficiency in Go, modern frontend frameworks, AWS (EKS, VPC, IAM), and Linux as daily tools Product judgment — you don't just build what you're told, you can decide what's worth building You've seen real failure modes in production, not just in tutorials Nice to have: Experience at an early-stage startup Familiarity with infrastructure observability tools (Prometheus, Datadog, Grafana) Experience with ML or AI infrastructure workloads Engagement details: Type: Contract / Freelance Rate: $50–$75/hour Hours: Part-time or full-time depending on fit Timeline: Immediate start preferred About Thoras AI: Thoras is an AI-powered Kubernetes optimization platform that predicts infrastructure demand before it happens — so engineering teams scale before the spike, not after.
