Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer for FinTech Payments & Risk Platform

We’re looking for a **Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer** to help build and scale a cloud-based FinTech platform that combines payment workflows, financial analytics, AI-powered automation, and secure customer-facing applications. The goal is to develop a production-ready platform that allows businesses to manage transactions, monitor payment activity, analyze financial data, and automate operational workflows through AI. ## What You’ll Build You’ll work across the full product stack, from responsive web interfaces and mobile applications to backend services, data pipelines, APIs, AI workflows, and cloud infrastructure. The platform will include: * **Payment processing** with Stripe, including payment intents, subscriptions, refunds, invoices, and webhook-driven transaction updates. * **Financial dashboards** showing transaction volume, revenue, payment status, failed transactions, customer activity, and operational KPIs. * **AI-powered financial assistant** that allows users to ask questions about transaction and business data using natural language. * **RAG-based knowledge workflows** for retrieving information from financial records, internal documentation, and customer-specific data. * **AI agents** that can automate tasks such as transaction investigation, reporting, customer-support workflows, and operational alerts. * **Secure REST/GraphQL APIs** connecting web, mobile, payment, AI, and internal services. * **Mobile applications** for iOS and Android using React Native or Flutter. * **Admin and operations dashboards** for managing customers, transactions, subscriptions, disputes, permissions, and system activity. ## Technical Environment We expect strong experience with **Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Node.js, FastAPI, REST APIs, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Terraform**. Experience with **LLM integration, RAG, vector search, AI agents, prompt engineering, Claude/OpenAI APIs, and AI-assisted development using Cursor or GitHub Copilot** is highly valuable. ## Responsibilities You’ll own features from architecture through production, including system design, API development, database architecture, AI integration, frontend/mobile implementation, automated testing, deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization. You’ll also collaborate with product, design, and operations stakeholders, make pragmatic architecture decisions, review code, improve engineering workflows, and help establish reliable security and deployment practices. ## Ideal Background We’re looking for someone with **7+ years of professional software engineering experience**, strong full-stack architecture skills, and demonstrated experience delivering production SaaS or FinTech systems. Experience with **Stripe/payment integrations, financial data, cloud-native systems, scalable APIs, AI applications, or security-sensitive workflows** is a major advantage. The project is long-term and intended for an engineer who can take ownership rather than simply implement isolated tickets.
