Job Title: Senior Full-Stack GIS & Spatial Data Engineer (7-Week AI Prototype) Location: Malaysia only — Remote Engagement: Fixed-price, milestone-based Duration: ~7 weeks Project Overview: - We are building an interactive, dark-mode geospatial sales intelligence prototype covering multiple target cities in Malaysia and abroad, across multiple industry applications - The prototype will combine geospatial data, spatial indexing, batch inference and an interactive web map experience - The core engine will run primarily on pre-calculated batch inference data blocks to eliminate active cloud hosting overhead Core Technical Requirements: - Advanced mastery of the Uber H3 Spatial Indexing framework (Resolution 9 hexagon mapping). - Heavy Python data engineering capabilities (GeoPandas, Shapely, Pandas). - Spatial database optimization using PostgreSQL / PostGIS. - Web map frontend creation using Mapbox GL JS (or OpenLayers) paired with Tailwind CSS. - Familiarity with NLP string classification and translation APIs. What We Are Looking For: We are specifically looking for someone who has actually built geospatial systems, not simply someone with a generalist experience.
