Senior Full-Stack TypeScript/Next.js Developer for Marketplace MVP
Worldwide
Full-Stack Developer Needed for Event-Tech Marketplace / Staffing Platform I’m building TAVO, a new event-tech platform designed to modernize how event staffing and eventually other event services are booked and managed. We are starting with a focused staffing MVP. The platform will connect clients with event professionals such as waiters, head waiters, captains, bartenders, chefs, and other event staff. The system will eventually handle availability, crew building, bookings, pricing, payments, ratings, referrals, and event management. What I’m looking for I’m looking for a strong full-stack developer who can help take the product from concept/design into a real production MVP. Preferred stack: * TypeScript * React * Next.js * Node.js * PostgreSQL * Prisma or similar ORM * REST APIs or equivalent * Stripe integration * Git/GitHub * Vercel or similar cloud deployment Initial MVP will include * Customer accounts * Worker/staff profiles * Different staff roles and permissions * Staff availability * Event creation * Staffing recommendations based on event size * Crew/team building * Booking requests * Accept/decline workflow * Booking status * Pricing and hourly-rate calculations * Admin dashboard * Notifications * Payment architecture * Mobile-responsive interface There will be more complex marketplace and event-planning functionality added after the initial MVP. Who I’m looking for I’m not looking for someone who only writes code from individual instructions. I want a developer who can understand the product, challenge technical decisions when necessary, help structure the architecture correctly, and think about how what we build today will scale later. Experience building any of the following is a major plus: * Two-sided marketplaces * Staffing/workforce platforms * Scheduling or availability systems * Booking platforms * Event-tech products * Payment/commission systems * SaaS products When applying Please send: 1. 2–3 production applications you personally helped build. 2. What parts of those applications you were responsible for. 3. Your preferred stack for this project and why. 4. How you would approach building the MVP. 5. Your availability. 6. Your hourly rate or estimated MVP engagement structure. Please start your application with “TAVO” so I know you read the full post. I am looking for someone who could potentially become a long-term technical partner/developer as the product grows.
