Senior Google Apps Script / Automation & Integration Engineer (Long-Term)

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Google Apps Script / Automation & Integration Engineer to join our team on a long-term basis. Our ideal candidate has built production-grade automation systems involving Google Workspace, APIs, CRM integrations, and data synchronization—not just simple spreadsheet scripts. The first project is to build a near real-time synchronization system between our HubSpot Lead Logging spreadsheet and our Media Planning (MPS) spreadsheet, with a scalable architecture that can support additional systems in the future. Responsibilities: Design a reliable source-of-truth architecture Build near real-time synchronization between HubSpot and Google Sheets Map and transform data across multiple systems Prevent duplicate records and maintain data integrity Update existing records accurately Design scalable automation workflows Build integrations that can expand across multiple applications Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve existing automation Required Skills: Google Apps Script (Expert) Google Workspace Development Google Sheets Automation JavaScript / TypeScript Google Sheets API REST APIs OAuth Webhooks HubSpot API Cross-spreadsheet synchronization Data synchronization Data mapping & transformation Record matching & deduplication CRM integrations Workflow automation Nice to Have: Make.com n8n Zapier Airtable Supabase PostgreSQL / SQL ETL concepts Revenue Operations (RevOps) automation Automation architecture What We're Looking For: We're seeking an engineer who has experience building real-world automation platforms, including: Multi-system integrations Production automation workflows Source-of-truth database architecture Reliable synchronization between business applications Scalable integration design This is not a simple Google Sheets scripting project.
