To support our growth, we are seeking a senior remote contractor to handle detailed 3D design, calculations, and manufacturing documentation. Key Responsibilities Design 3D CAD models (SolidWorks/Inventor) for Hydraulic Power Units (HPUs), custom oil manifold blocks, and mobile machinery circuits. Select standard fluid power components (pumps, valves, proportional hydraulics, heat exchangers) from manufacturers like Rexroth, Parker, HYDAC, Danfoss. Generate precise hydraulic schematics (ISO 1219 standards), 2D manufacturing drawings, and BOMs. Perform mechanical and hydraulic calculations (flow rate, thermal dissipation, pressure drops, actuation speed). Requirements 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oil Hydraulics / Industrial / Mobile Fluid Power. Deep knowledge of valve manifold block design, oil hydraulic circuits, and ISO symbols. Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks, Inventor, or equivalent 3D CAD. Fluent technical English. Operating as an independent B2B contractor. Draft 2D production drawings (GD&T compliant), hose/piping routing, and structured BOMs for manufacturing. Update CAD models based on feedback from our senior fluid power architect. Requirements 3+ years of mechanical CAD experience focused on Industrial or Mobile Oil Hydraulics. Ability to read ISO 1219 hydraulic schematics effortlessly.
