Senior JAMF Pro / Intune Specialist (Ongoing, Hourly Contract)

SUMMARY We are a managed IT services provider looking for a senior endpoint engineer to join our team as a specialist for JAMF Pro and Microsoft Intune work. This is not a single project. It is an ongoing relationship where we send you scoped pieces of work as they come up, you estimate them, we approve, you deliver, and you invoice hourly. HOW THE ENGAGEMENT WORKS We send you a defined piece of work with requirements and context. You provide an hourly estimate and expected turnaround. We approve (or discuss scope) before you start. You build, test and deploy the work. You invoice for approved hours on completion. Volume varies. Some weeks will be quiet, others will have several jobs running. We are looking for someone dependable who delivers to the estimate they give, not someone on standby. TYPICAL WORK Custom deployment packaging for apps and CLI tools outside the JAMF App Catalog and Mac App Store Scripts, extension attributes, smart groups and policy configuration in JAMF Pro Intune app packaging (Win32, LOB, macOS), configuration profiles, compliance and remediation scripts Troubleshooting failed deployments and patching issues across a mixed fleet WORKING WITH OUR TEAM You would be part of our team rather than an arm's length supplier. That means: Once onboarded and police checked, you get direct access to the JAMF Pro and Intune environments you are working in You will be added to our Microsoft Teams environment and are expected to be contactable and responsive there for escalations, questions and general discussion You will need to complete an international police check before starting. We will cover the cost. Clear documentation and handover notes are expected on every job LOCATION Location and timezone do not matter for the work itself. It is asynchronous, covering changes, packaging and configuration rather than live ticket response, and it is rarely urgent. What matters is that you turn work around within the timeframe you estimate, keep us updated when something changes, and check Teams regularly enough that we are not waiting days for a reply. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Demonstrated senior level experience with JAMF Pro, ideally with Intune as well Strong shell scripting, and PowerShell for the Intune side A preference for native tooling. We would rather avoid Homebrew as a dependency where a native package or script will do. Sound judgement working in live production tenants, including testing before deploying at scale Ability to scope and estimate accurately, then deliver to that estimate Clear written English and good handover discipline Willingness to complete an international police check TO APPLY Tell us about your JAMF and Intune background, and give us your hourly rate.
