Senior Java Spring Boot Developer Needed for Microservices, Keycloak, Kafka & Backend Work

We are looking for an experienced Java/Spring Boot backend developer to help with ongoing backend development, API work, microservices, authentication/authorization, and system integrations. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in building production-grade backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, Keycloak, Kafka, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines. ## Responsibilities •⁠ ⁠Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot backend services •⁠ ⁠Build and enhance REST APIs •⁠ ⁠Work on microservices-based architecture •⁠ ⁠Implement secure authentication and authorization using Keycloak •⁠ ⁠Configure realms, clients, users, groups, roles, and access policies in Keycloak •⁠ ⁠Integrate OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and Spring Security •⁠ ⁠Implement Kafka producers and consumers for event-driven workflows •⁠ ⁠Work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis •⁠ ⁠Optimize database queries and resolve performance issues •⁠ ⁠Debug and fix production/backend issues •⁠ ⁠Refactor existing code and improve system reliability •⁠ ⁠Support Docker-based setup and CI/CD pipelines •⁠ ⁠Collaborate with the team and provide clear technical updates ## Required Skills •⁠ ⁠Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot •⁠ ⁠Hands-on experience with REST API development •⁠ ⁠Good understanding of Microservices architecture •⁠ ⁠Practical experience with Keycloak •⁠ ⁠Experience with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and Spring Security •⁠ ⁠Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture •⁠ ⁠Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB •⁠ ⁠Experience with Redis caching •⁠ ⁠Experience with Docker •⁠ ⁠Familiarity with AWS services •⁠ ⁠Experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools •⁠ ⁠Good debugging and problem-solving skills •⁠ ⁠Ability to work independently on an existing codebase ## Nice to Have •⁠ ⁠Kubernetes experience •⁠ ⁠Feign Client experience •⁠ ⁠Swagger/OpenAPI documentation experience •⁠ ⁠Hibernate/JPA performance optimization •⁠ ⁠Experience fixing N+1 query issues •⁠ ⁠Experience with multi-tenant authentication systems •⁠ ⁠Experience with production troubleshooting and log analysis ## Project Type This is a contract-based role.
