Senior Linux Engineer

IDS develops one of the telecom industry's leading platforms for Interconnect Billing, Business Analytics, and Legal Data Retention. Our software has been continuously developed for more than 20 years and is trusted by leading telecommunications operators across Europe. We are now looking for a Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer who wants to become a long-term member of our technical team, working closely with our CTO and software developers on both internal IT infrastructure and customer deployments. This is a broad technical role for someone who enjoys solving problems, building reliable environments, and making complex systems work smoothly. About the role You will work with areas including: Linux server installation and administration Customer software installation and upgrades VMware and virtualization Networking, VPNs and firewalls Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Microsoft 365 administration and internal IT Enterprise servers and datacenter infrastructure Automation using Bash, PowerShell or Python Technical troubleshooting and documentation Your work will range from setting up a developer's workstation to designing and deploying complete Linux and cloud environments for international telecommunications operators. We are looking for someone who has Several years of Linux system administration experience Solid knowledge of VMware and virtualization Experience with TCP/IP networking, VPNs and firewalls Experience with Windows and Microsoft 365 Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent technical English The following experience is considered an advantage: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Oracle Linux Docker Kubernetes Terraform Ansible HPE ProLiant Dell PowerEdge Enterprise storage platforms Who are you?
