Summary

I’m looking for a senior Linux systems/platform engineer to help turn an existing Electron-based desktop experience into the foundation of a production Linux-based operating system for a new computer. The work includes OS architecture, desktop/session integration, boot and system services, hardware integration, security/permissions, updates and recovery, performance, and integrating our Electron/Chromium experience deeply with the underlying Linux system. Looking for someone with experience building desktop platforms, Linux distributions, embedded Linux systems, desktop shells, or commercial Linux-based devices, not primarily server/cloud infrastructure.
