Senior Mobile Product & Motion Designer for AI Photo PWA

We are looking for a senior mobile product designer with strong motion design skills to redesign the onboarding and paywall of a working AI photo PWA. Current live product: https://nextme.cc/ Our internal redesign prototype: https://framelab-photo-styles.romargera.chatgpt.site/ The prototype is significantly closer to the visual direction and product flow we expect than the current live version. However, it should only be treated as a starting point, not as a final design to polish or reproduce. It still does not reach the visual impact, motion quality, emotional engagement, and conversion-focused execution of leading consumer AI photo apps such as AI Arta and comparable Tier-1 products. We expect the selected designer to critically improve this direction, propose stronger solutions where necessary, and create an original, production-ready experience rather than simply restyling the prototype. We are preparing to acquire users through Google, Meta, and TikTok ads. Our immediate goal is to create a bright, emotionally engaging onboarding experience, a clear subscription paywall, and a strong visual direction that can later be applied to the entire product. Initial paid scope: 1. Review the current product, prototype, and relevant AI photo apps such as AI Arta. 2. Map and improve the onboarding-to-paywall flow. 3. Create a visual direction for the product. 4. Design all onboarding screens. 5. Design the subscription paywall and its main states. 6. Redesign one core product screen to demonstrate how the visual style will extend to the rest of the PWA. 7. Create a clickable Figma prototype. 8. Define onboarding animations and microinteractions. 9. Prepare a small developer-ready UI kit. Initial deliverables: - Editable and well-organized Figma file - Mobile-first high-fidelity screens - Components, variants, and Auto Layout - Clickable onboarding and paywall prototype - Motion storyboard with transitions and timings - Two revision rounds - Developer handoff specifications - Source and licensing information for fonts, illustrations, and other assets Please specify exactly what motion deliverables you can provide: - Figma motion prototype - Lottie animations - Rive animations - MP4/WebM video assets - Animation specifications for the developer Production-ready Lottie, Rive, or video assets may be estimated separately. Potential continuation If the initial phase is successful, we plan to continue with the same designer through additional fixed-price milestones and redesign the remaining product: - Style catalog - Generation with a selected catalog style - Free-form generation - Generation progress, errors, and retry states - Generated photos section - Photo viewing, download, share, and delete actions - Settings - Login, registration, and password recovery - PWA installation banners - Push-notification banners - Empty, success, and error states - Responsive adaptations - Complete UI kit and developer handoff Ideal candidate: - Has shipped consumer mobile products for Tier-1 markets - Has relevant onboarding and subscription paywall experience - Has worked on AI, photo, entertainment, or subscription products - Has strong visual and motion design skills - Can work closely with an existing developer - Can start immediately - Can present the first visual direction within 48 hours When applying, please include: 1. Budget and contract structure The posted $1,000 fixed-price budget covers the initial design phase only, not the complete redesign of the PWA. We propose dividing it into two milestones: Milestone 1 — $250: Visual direction and UX concept - Review of the current product and references - Refined onboarding-to-paywall flow - Two visual directions for the first onboarding screen and paywall - Editable Figma source - One revision round Milestone 2 — $750: Final onboarding and paywall design - Complete onboarding screens - Paywall and its main states - One redesigned core product screen - Clickable Figma prototype - Motion storyboard and animation specifications - Small developer-ready UI kit - Final editable Figma source - Two revision rounds Freelancers may propose a different fixed-price estimate if they clearly explain the reason and the additional value or deliverables included. The $1,000 budget should include a clickable Figma motion prototype and at least one production-ready onboarding animation delivered in Lottie, Rive, MP4, or WebM format. Please specify which format you recommend, exactly how many production-ready animations are included in your proposal, and what animation specifications will be provided for the remaining transitions. If you believe the required motion scope cannot be delivered within the posted budget, you may propose a different fixed price with a clear breakdown. If the initial phase is successful, we plan to continue the remaining PWA redesign with the same designer through additional milestones.
