Senior Public Health Consultant, Opioid & Substance Use Disorder Expertise

We are seeking seeking an experienced opioid/substance use disorder (SUD) public health consultant to serve as a subject matter advisor on a municipal Community Needs Assessment in Oklahoma. Our existing team already includes experienced researchers and a senior public health epidemiologist. We specifically need someone with direct opioid/SUD expertise who can strengthen our understanding of prevention, treatment, harm reduction, recovery, service gaps, and opioid-abatement strategies. The consultant will initially support proposal development and, if awarded, provide approximately 20 to 40 hours of advisory support over a six-month project. Ideal experience includes: -Direct work in opioid use disorder, SUD, overdose prevention, harm reduction, treatment, or recovery -Knowledge of U.S. behavioral health and community-based service systems -Experience with community needs assessments, service-gap analyses, or opioid response planning -Experience advising state/local government or public health agencies -Familiarity with opioid settlement or abatement funding is strongly preferred This is a senior advisory role, not a general research or writing position.
