Summary

UK business seeking an experienced senior Python/data engineer for a short paid technical feasibility project. The goal is to assess whether multiple e-commerce and product data sources can be combined to identify and analyze pricing opportunities. The initial POC will include API/data-source research, product matching across datasets, historical pricing analysis, demand and liquidity indicators, image/text-based matching, ROI calculations, AI-assisted classification/scoring, and evaluation of API limitations and scalability. This is a backend/data feasibility project, not an app or website build. Experience with eBay APIs, marketplace data, e-commerce pricing intelligence, and large-scale product matching is highly valued. Please share relevant examples of previous work and briefly explain your experience with marketplace/product data. Initial fixed-price POC with larger project available if successful.
