# Senior Python / Industrial Automation / Voice AI Engineer We are looking for a senior engineer to build a production-grade voice AI layer that interacts safely with existing PLC-controlled equipment. This is not a chatbot project. The system must translate natural-language requests into structured commands, validate them deterministically, and communicate with industrial hardware without bypassing PLC safety logic. ## Must Have * Strong Python experience * Hands-on Modbus RTU/TCP integration * Real PLC integration experience * Experience working around existing HMI/PLC architectures * Voice AI, STT/TTS, or conversational AI integration * Structured LLM outputs with deterministic validation * Command acknowledgement, retries, idempotency, and duplicate-execution prevention * Hardware communication failure and reconnect handling * State-machine design for real-world device control * Raspberry Pi, industrial PC, or similar edge-device deployment ## Strong Preference * Delta PLC experience * RS-485 integration * Industrial automation or machinery projects * Safety-critical or equipment-control systems * Offline/degraded-mode architecture * Device configuration and versioned register-map abstractions * Historical/session data models and personalized recommendation systems ## What We Are Looking For You should understand the difference between: LLM interpretation deterministic application validation PLC command request PLC acknowledgement authoritative machine state The PLC must remain the final authority. ## Apply Only If Please include: 1. Generic AI, chatbot, Arduino-only, or API integration experience without real hardware/control-system experience is not sufficient.
