Senior Rust Engineer for Blockchain Infrastructure

Looking for an experienced Rust Blockchain Developer to contribute to the development of production-grade blockchain infrastructure and Web3 systems. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Rust, blockchain architecture, distributed systems, and on-chain infrastructure, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of complex technical tasks. Responsibilities - Develop and maintain blockchain infrastructure and protocol components using Rust - Build high-performance blockchain services, APIs, and on-chain integrations - Work with blockchain nodes, RPC, transactions, and on-chain data - Optimize system performance, reliability, and resource usage - Investigate and resolve production and synchronization issues - Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests - Review and improve existing architecture, security, and code quality Requirements - Strong professional experience with Rust - Solid understanding of blockchain architecture and distributed systems - Hands-on experience building production blockchain or Web3 systems - Good understanding of blockchain security and cryptographic concepts - Experience with Git, testing, debugging, and production environments - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently - Clear and professional communication Nice to Have - Experience with Solana, Substrate/Polkadot, Cosmos, or EVM - Experience with blockchain nodes, indexers, explorers, or RPC infrastructure - Smart-contract development experience - Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud infrastructure - Experience working on high-throughput or low-latency systems This is intended as a long-term remote engagement, with the workload and hourly rate depending on experience and availability.
