Senior AI Systems Architect (Multi-Agent & Knowledge Systems)

I'm the founder of a fast-growing construction and renovation company based in the Netherlands. Over the past year I've been designing something much bigger than a CRM or a collection of AI tools. The vision is to build an internal AI Operating System that becomes the digital brain of our company. This system will eventually understand our business, support decision-making, automate repetitive work, connect all of our software, and continuously learn from every project we complete. I already have a detailed architecture and documentation covering the business logic, AI architecture, workflows and long-term vision. I'm looking for someone who can help turn that architecture into a real product. This is a long-term project. I'm not looking for someone to complete a few tasks and disappear. I'm looking for someone who wants to build something ambitious from the ground up. --- ## What you'll be building This is **not** a chatbot. It is **not** another ChatGPT wrapper. It is **not** a simple automation project. You'll be helping build an enterprise platform that combines ideas from: * AI agents * Knowledge Graphs * RAG * Event-driven architecture * Business workflows * Enterprise software * Digital Twins * Workflow orchestration * Internal company knowledge * Executive dashboards * API integrations * Decision support systems Think of it as building an operating system for a business instead of an app. --- ## What I'm looking for I'm looking for someone who enjoys solving difficult engineering problems. Someone who thinks about architecture before code. Someone who can challenge my ideas, suggest better solutions and explain *why* one approach is better than another. I don't need a yes-man. I need someone who enjoys building complex systems properly. --- ## Technologies The exact stack isn't fixed yet, but experience with most of these is important: * Python * TypeScript * PostgreSQL * Supabase * Graph databases (Neo4j or similar) * Vector databases * FastAPI * Docker * Git * OpenAI API * Anthropic API * MCP * LangGraph or similar agent frameworks * Next.js * Vercel * n8n (nice to have) If you believe another architecture is better, I'm open to discussing it. --- ## What you'll do * Help design the technical architecture * Build scalable backend services * Develop AI agents and orchestration * Connect external APIs and business systems * Build knowledge and memory systems * Design clean, maintainable infrastructure * Work directly with me on product decisions I want someone who thinks like an architect, not someone who only completes tickets. --- ## This probably isn't for you if... * You mainly build WordPress websites. * You mostly create landing pages. * You only know how to use AI through prompts. * You have never designed a larger software architecture. * You can't explain the reasoning behind your technical decisions. --- ## Before applying Please answer these questions: 1.
