Senior Web Designer + Local SEO Specialist – 6 Eyecare Websites About the Project: We are a Southern California optometry group with multiple locations, an eyewear e-commerce brand, and an optometry recruiting platform. We are looking for an experienced senior web designer/developer with strong local SEO experience to modernize and standardize our six websites. Our goal is to create a premium, clean, modern, professional web presence across all of our brands while maintaining the individual identity and local feel of each optometry office. We would like to start with Sunny Optometry as the prototype site, establish an approved design system, and then apply that system across the remaining websites. Style/quality reference: RichlinEye.com We like the overall level of polish, modern aesthetic, layout, and professionalism, but we are not looking to copy the site. We are looking for: Premium, modern, clean design Strong visual hierarchy and typography Excellent mobile/responsive design User-friendly navigation Clear calls-to-action Strong appointment-booking experience Local SEO best practices Fast-loading, optimized pages Professional presentation of doctors, services, locations, and eyewear Design that feels modern and high-end without being overly corporate A cohesive design system that can be replicated across multiple locations The approved Sunny Optometry design will become the foundation for the remaining websites. Phase 2 – Apply Design System to 4 Optometry Websites Apply the approved design system to: Sunny Optometry Temple City Optometry San Fernando Optometry Sunshine Optometry Each office should retain its own: Branding Doctors Services Photos Location information Local content Community/local identity The websites should feel like part of the same overall organization while still being distinct individual practices. Phase 3 – E-Commerce + Recruiting Websites After the optometry websites are established, we will work on: Eye Love Sunshine Squarespace e-commerce website: eyelovesunshine.com Optometry Finder Recruiting website: optometryfinder.com We are currently using Squarespace for the e-commerce site and Lovable for the recruiting site. We generally prefer to stay on Squarespace or the existing platforms unless you can demonstrate that another platform would provide a significant advantage in terms of functionality, performance, SEO, management, or scalability. Please explain any platform recommendations in your proposal. SEO Requirements: Strong local SEO experience is required. We are especially interested in someone who understands SEO for local healthcare businesses and multi-location businesses.
